Project Overview:
City Year Miami is a branch of the national education nonprofit City Year, which deploys AmeriCorps members to serve as student success coaches in under-resourced public schools. Their mission is to support academic equity and empower the next generation of leaders through education. OstenWelt partnered with City Year Miami to visually capture and amplify the spirit of service, community, and impact at the heart of their mission.

Through intentional event coverage, OstenWelt created a collection of high-impact imagery that tells the story of City Year Miami’s work — from service days to student engagement, community partnerships, and volunteer leadership.
Brand-Aligned Documentation
OstenWelt ensured that all visual assets aligned with City Year’s national brand standards while giving a unique voice to the Miami chapter. Imagery was curated and delivered to support fundraising efforts, recruitment campaigns, and community outreach.
Strategic Content Support
The photography assets were not just stand-alone visuals — they became tools for storytelling across social media, annual reports, and internal presentations. OstenWelt worked closely with staff to understand key messaging needs and deliver usable creative content that supported those goals.
