Project Overview:
The Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) is the state agency responsible for providing treatment and support services for Georgians with mental health needs, substance use disorders, and intellectual and developmental disabilities. DBHDD partnered with OstenWelt to modernize their visual presence and improve how they communicate with the communities they serve.
OstenWelt’s Role:
Logo Design & Visual Identity
OstenWelt developed a new logo and cohesive visual identity that reflects the agency’s mission: to empower recovery and inclusion while maintaining professionalism and accessibility across all audiences. The design balances governmental integrity with warmth and clarity.
Website Development
We translated the brand into a clean, intuitive, and fully responsive website that ensures ease of access to essential information and resources for families, caregivers, providers, and state partners. The structure prioritizes clarity, accessibility (ADA compliance), and trust.
Results:
A refreshed and modernized brand identity for a critical state agency
Improved usability and clarity across digital platforms
Reinforced DBHDD’s leadership and public trust through accessible, mission-driven design
